Annual Golf Tournament - The 11th Annual Golf Tournament will take place at Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, Md., on Friday, June 15. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and coffee will be available. Tee time is at 9 a.m. using a Scramble format. This years tournament honors Greg and Joy Smith, a couple with true servants hearts and a blessing to St. Stephens UMC. VBS at Mount Olivet UMC Mount Olivet UMC in Seaford is hosting Shipwrecked VBS on June 18-22, from 5:30 to 8 each evening. Come join us and learn that Jesus rescues us when were sad, lonely, or afraid. St. Pauls UMC Hymn Sing St. Pauls UMC invites the community to a Hymn Sing at 6 p.m. on June 24. The featured group is Reunion, a local Southern Gospel group. Reunion is known for their tight harmony, enthusiastic message and love for the Lord. A love offering will be taken to support their ministry. Summer services resume The Board of Directors of the Old Christ Church League announces the resumption of regular summer services at Old Christ Church, Laurel. Services are held on the first Sunday of each month at 10 a.m., June through September: July 1, Aug. 5 and Sept. 2. Officiant is the Rev. HowardBackus. The order of worship is taken from a 19th century prayer book in use around the timethe church was built.Step back in time when you enter Old Christ Church; this wooden church is not electrified and is as it was in 1771. Throughthe open windows, enjoy the tranquility of the area - the trees, church yard and Chipmans Pond. A voluntary offering will betaken up for the preservation and restoration of Old Christ Church. Centenary UMC Presents Sunday Night Gospel Concerts Centenary United Methodist Church, located at 200 W. Market Street in Laurel. The event, sponsored by the Friendly/Sunshine Class, costs $12 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, and is free for children under six years old. Carry-outs will be available. The meal includes fish, potato salad, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, greens, cornbread, and dessert. Woodland UM Church celebrates 175 years The kickoff of the 175th birthday of for Woodland UM Church will take place on Sunday, June 17 at the 9 a.m/ worship service. Evangelist Thom Slaughter of Second Wind Ministries will deliver the Fathers Day message, and bring his music ministry. The service will be followed by a brunch. Everyone is welcome to this joyous celebration! Food contributions to the brunch are sincerely appreciated.

Higher Calling Ministries Womens Fellowship set for June 16 Higher Calling Ministries will hold a Womens Fellowship event on Saturday, June 16, at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Guest messengers include Evangelist Angela Dutton, Pastor Pamela Polk, Pastor Kathy Millner, Apostle Helena Bailey and First Lady Annette Dickerson. Fellowship colors are all white. Accessories can be silver. The event runs from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and the registration fee is $70. The deadline to reserve a spot is June 3. Payment can be mailed to Higher Calling Ministries, P.O. VBS at Concord UM Church Concord United Methodist Church invites children to join a thrilling adventure at Rolling River Rampage VBS. Children from Pre-K thru 6th will experience the ride of a lifetime with God beginning on Monday, June 18, through Thursday, June 21, from 6 - 8:30 pm nightly at Concord UMC, 25322 Church Rd., Seaford. The adventure includes music that will wow your ears, interactive Bible fun, super science, cool crafts, hands-on mission work, delicious snacks, and more. Cannon and Robins Family Day Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, 28 Church Street, Bridgeville will be observing their annual Cannon and Robins Family Day on Sunday, July 1 at 4 p.m. The guest preacher will be Bishop Carlton Cannon Sr, Administrative Bishop, New Jersey Church of God.
