'The Meaning of the Manger'

Griefshare at St. John's

Griefshare will be offered at St. John's United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge on Sunday, March 6. The question, 'Is this normal?' will be discussed including the intensity and duration of emotions and how the experience is harder than we imagined.

Community Men's Prayer Breakfast

Delmar Kiwanis Club to sponsor sunrise service

The annual Delmar Kiwanis sunrise service will be held at the Francis E. Nunvar football field, located at the Delmar Middle and SeniorHigh School, starting at 7 a.m. with Reverend Michael Rittenhouse conducting the service along with other local clergy.

Sister to Sister Gathering to be held at St. John's United Methodist Church

The Sister to Sister Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 16 at St. John;s United Methodist Church at 300 N. Pine Street in Seaford.
Check-in will be from 9:30-10 a.m., the program will take place from 10:30-11:30 a.m., and a catered luncheon will be served from noon-1:30 p.m.
The speaker will by Speaker Rev. Kari Jones, co-pastor of Connection Community Church in Middletown. The theme is The Imperfect Women in Jesus' Family Tree Who Inspire Us to Do God's Perfect Work. The registration fee is $8 with registration ending April 4. For more information, call 302-629-9466.

Passover Meal and Service

Union United Methodist Church, 2 N. Laws St., Bridgeville, will hold a traditional Passover Meal and Service at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, in the Fellowship Hall.
Everyone is welcome and there is no charge to attend, however, donations are welcomed to help cover the purchase of foods and items needed.

Women's Day Observance

Union United Methodist Church, 1203 Pine St., Delmar, will observe Women's Day on Sunday, March 13. The Rev. Greta Belote will be the messenger for the 9 a.m. service and the Rev. Chicken and Dumpling Dinner

Centenary UMC in Laurel will have an 'All You Can Eat' Chicken and Dumpling Dinner on Saturday, March 5 from 4-6:30 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for kids ages 5 and under.

Gospel Cafe

The Gospel Cafe will celebrate its 11th anniversary on Saturday, March 5 at 6 p.m. at Christ Evangelistic Church, Camp Road, Laurel. Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner

Bethel United Methodist Church at Oak Grove will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner on Saturday, March 12 from 4-6 p.m. The menu includes pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, rolls, apple butter, apple crisp and beverage for $10. The Sussex Community Gospel Mass Choir Annual Fashion Show will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 13 at Church of God and Saints of Christ, 10016 Concord Rd., Seaford. 'Surviving the Holidays' seminar

St. John's United Methodist Church in Seaford will host 'Surviving the Holidays' from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, in the Wesley Lounge. Holidays can include any special day in our memory which produce a sadness when we have to face the day without that special someone.
