Community Youth Prayer Breakfast Church of God and Saints of Christ in Seaford will hold a Community Youth Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 9 a.m. Fruit of the Spirit will be delivered by Minister Michael Eley. Cookbooks fundraiser Delmar Wesleyan Church is selling cookbooks to help with the church's kitchen remodel. Cookbooks are $10 each and can be purchased by calling Jim at 841-8874. Cookbooks are also available for purchase at Delmar Pizza, Bryan & Brittingham, Britt's Restaurant and Carey's.

Beef and Dumpling Dinner The Men of Zoar UMC will hold their semi-annual Beef and Dumpling Dinner from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23. Cost is $12 for adults and $8 for children. The church is located at 24463 Gravel Hill Rd., Millsboro. For more information, call Ralph at 934-6426.

All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast God's Men of Centenary Church in Laurel are sponsoring an "all-you-can-eat-breakfast" on Saturday, Jan. 9, from 7-9:30 a.m. to benefit the "Youth Project Fund." The menu will include eggs, sausage and scrapple, fried potatoes, pancakes, coffee and orange juice. Adults $7, children (ages 6-12) $3 and under six free. If you like a hearty breakfast you don't want to miss this one.

Father Daughter Dance Mount Olivet's annual Father Daughter Dance will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 7-9:30 p.m. at Seaford High School. Tickets are available for purchase at Posey Palace and on The Bridge's website. Tickets are $15. Get your tickets early as the event has sold out in previous years.
