Cookie and Fudge Sale The Abundant Life Christian Church Women's Fellowship in Laurel will hold a Cookie and Fudge Sale on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop in for fellowship and a variety of treats.

Christmas services at Felton Viola Felton Viola United Methodist Church will host several services for Christmas at 101 E. Main St., Felton. Blue Christmas Service - Monday, Dec. 21, 7 p.m. - For those who find the holidays difficult, this service acknowledges that difficulty and brings hope. 'Sounds of the Season' The Gospel Cafe Country Christmas, "Sounds of the Season," will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Christ Evangelistic Church in Laurel. Dinner begins at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information and dinner tickets which are $10 each, contact Nancy at 875-5539.

Griefshare at St. John's Griefshare is being offered by St. John's United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St., Seaford, from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge. What is Heaven like? Are near death experiences a reliable description of Heaven? If you are dealing with grief we invite you to join us. No children as childcare is not provided.

'Winter Wonderland' bell concert St. John's United Methodist Church in Seaford will host the Capital Ringers who will perform "Winter Wonderland," at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6, in the main sanctuary. The seasonal concert of bells is part of the 2015 concert tour. The handbell performance promotes the art of English handbell and handchime ringing. The ensemble rings six octaves of Schulmerich handbells (the largest set on the Delmarva Peninsula) and includes 5 1/2 octaves of Malmark handchimes. The performance at St. John's will include a five octave set of Whitechapel handbells that will be included in the concert. There will be light refreshments and a free will offering will be taken.

Free Thrift Store Encounter Praize and Worship Center will hold their 3rd Annual Free Thrift Store on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those in need. Clothes, shoes, toys, blankets, household goods and more will be available, free of charge. If you, or someone you know, is in need for the holiday, look no further. Lunch will be available. Community Prayer Breakfast Church of God and Saints of Christ will hold a Community Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19. Everyone is welcome. Breakfast is free. Southern Gospel Singing The Kings Ambassadors will perform at Delmar First Baptist Church, Delmar, Md., at 6 p.m. on Sunday night, Dec. 6. Candlelight, Ribbon Memorial Service Park Lane Church of God, 209 Park Ln., Federalsburg, will host its 4th Annual We Remember Candlelight and Ribbon Memorial Service, at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6. Keynote speaker will be Michael Eskow of Framptom Funeral Home. Music will be provided by Sarah Leimbach. For anyone who has suffered the loss of a child, this one hour service includes a devotional, prayer, reading of the names and hanging ribbons outside on an evergreen tree. Gospel Concert and Lasagna Dinner The Homeland Singers will sing in the new year with its Annual Gospel Concert and Lasagna Dinner on New Year's Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31, at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Delmar. Father Daughter Dance Mount Olivet's annual Father Daughter Dance will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 from 7-9:30 p.m. at Seaford High School. Tickets are available at Posey Palace and on The Bridge's website. Tickets are $10 prior to Dec. 25 and $15 after. Get your tickets early as the event has sold out in previous years.

Christmas Concert at Grace UMC Nationally known recording artists Mercy's Well will present a Christmas Concert at Grace UMC in Millsboro on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Free admission but a free will offering will be taken. Join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior with this wonderful group. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the concert.
