Historical marker dedication The Woodland United Methodist Church will dedicate a Delaware historical marker at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24. The Woodland Choir will provide special music. Events at Union UMC Union United Methodist Church, 2 N. Laws St., Bridgeville, will host a Community Movie Night on Sunday, Aug. 24. Doors open at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for a time of food and fellowship. The movie, "God's Not Dead," will begin at 7 in the sanctuary. The movie is appropriate for all ages and everyone is welcome. There is no charge to attend. The fall schedule will begin on Sunday, Sept. 7, with two worship times: 9 a.m. for contemporary worship and 11 a.m. for traditional service. Children's church starts at 9 a.m. and is open for ages 4 through 5th grade. All Sunday school classes begin at 10 a.m.; classes are held for adults, children and youth.
