Project helps area homeowners Recently, 42 young adults and 15 team leaders from First Presbyterian churches in Rome, Utica, Holland Patent and Augusta, N.Y. partnered with Milford Housing Development Corporation's (MHDC) Home Repair Project (HRP) to provide emergency home repair to eight Delaware homeowners. The group replaced four roofs, six sets of steps, nine windows and constructed a handicap ramp totaling 1,824 volunteer hours for the week. The Home Repair Project provides emergency-related, health and safety repairs to qualified Delaware homeowners. Since 1991, the Home Repair Project has helped thousands of families make their homes safer.
