Native American Womens Choir A Native American womens praise choir representing 19 tribes will perform at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at Grace Baptist Church in Seaford. Grief support group GriefShare, a 13 week nondenominational grief support group is being offered by St. Johns United Methodist Church in Seaford, beginning Sunday, June 22. Sussex County Prayer Breakfast Tickets are on sale for the 37th annual Sussex County Prayer Breakfast to be held on Tuesday, June 17. Pastor Saint Clair Sterling from Delmarva Teen Challenge in Seaford will be the featured guest speaker. Pastor Sterling grew up in Kingston Jamaica in a life filled with drug addiction and recklessness. He found a new life in Christ through the ministry of Teen Challenge Jamaica. He is currently the mens supervisor at Delmarva Teen Challenge in Seaford. The Sussex County Prayer Breakfast is held each year to bring citizens and community leaders together for a morning of ministry, music and personal reflection. The event is attended by business professionals, community leaders and various representatives of local, county, state and federal governments. Ticket sales and community sponsorships help support this annual event. Former County Councilman Dale R. Dukes is again volunteering his time to coordinate the breakfast. The breakfast will begin at 6:45 a.m. on June 17, at Crossroad Community Church, Rt. 404 and State Forest Road, west of Georgetown. The ministry and music portion of the program will begin at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are $15 per person or $110 per table of eight and will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
