Lenten worship, fellowship, study All Saints Episcopal Church, 10719 E. Grove St., Delmar is holding special services. Each Wednesday of Lent, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the church has been journeying with Jesus through key scriptures and events of Holy Week. The final service in this series is April 9: The Betrayal, Arrest and Crucifixion of Jesus. Everyone is welcome to worship at All Saints Episcopal Church during Holy Week: April 13 - Sunday of the Passion, with the Liturgy of the Palms and the Holy Eucharist: 10 a.m. April 18 - Liturgy for Good Friday followed by the Stations of the Cross: noon and 7 p.m. April 20 - Easter Day: The Sunday of the Resurrection, with the Lighting of the Pascal Candle and the Holy Eucharist: 10 a.m.

Lent and Easter Services Union United Methodist Church in Bridgeville invites everyone to attend Lent and Easter Services: Palm Sunday Service, Sunday, April 13, 10 a.m. - entire music department will perform. No childrens church or Sunday school. A luncheon will be held in the Fellowship Hall after the service. Holy Thursday Service, Thursday, April 17, 7 p.m. - traditional communion will be offered. Good Friday, April 18, noon to 3 p.m. - the church will be open for a time of reflection and prayer. Good Friday Service, 7 p.m. - 7 Last Words of Christ will be read by members of the congregation. Easter Sunday, April 20, 6:30 a.m. - Sunrise Service at the cemetery pond behind the church. Regular service will begin at 9 a.m. and the traditional service at 11. Easter services at Concord Church Concord United Methodist Church, 25322 Church Rd., Seaford, invites you to attend their Easter services. A Holy Thursday service will be held at 7 p.m. on April 17 and traditional communion will be offered. Easter Sunday, April 20, will feature a Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m., followed by breakfast in the Community House. Afterwards, the regular worship service will begin at 9, followed by church school. Call 628-8114 for details.

Homemade Easter Eggs Homemade Easter Eggs from Christ Lutheran Church are available for $3.50 each. There are three kinds: peanut butter, butter cream and coconut. To order, call 629-9755 or 629-9751.

Weekly Lenten Fish Dinners Lenten Fish Dinners will be served every Wednesday during the Lenten season in the parish hall of Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Stein Highway in Seaford. The final dinner date is April 9. Dinner is your choice of baked, breaded flounder or vegetable lasagna. Each entrée includes sides, homemade soup and coleslaw, rolls, drinks, and homemade desserts. Cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children under age 10. Proceeds will benefit the annual scholarship fund.

Concert tickets on sale Tickets are on sale for the Unspoken Concert at Wyoming United Methodist Church, Dover on Saturday, April 12, at 7 p.m. Unspoken is a multi-cultural band comprised of Chad Mattson (vocalist) and Jon Lowry (bass) who are both from Maine, Mike Gomez (electric guitar) from the Dominican Republic, and Ariel Munoz (drums) who hails from Puerto Rico. The popular Christian bands tour comes on the heels of their top 10 Christian Music hits, Who You Are and Lift My Life Up and in support of the upcoming release of their self-titled new album. Kiwanis Sunrise Easter Service The Delmar Kiwanis Sunrise Easter Service will be held at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 20, at the Delmar Football Field. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held in the gym. Soup and Sandwich Luncheon Concord United Methodist Church will host a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at the Community House. A variety of homemade soups will be available including chicken noodle, peas and dumplings, lima bean and vegetable beef. Sandwiches include BBQ beef on a bun, chicken salad and grilled cheese. Assorted desserts and beverages will also be for sale.

Easter Passion Drama The Stein Highway Church of God located at 425 E. Stein Hwy., Seaford, will present an Easter Passion Drama, Hope Beyond The Cross, at 7 p.m. on Good Friday, April 18, and 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday. Everyone is invited to attend this free event. UMW hosts Calendar Party Union United Methodist Church in Bridgeville will host a Calendar Party to benefit the United Methodist Women (UMW) and the various mission activities which the UMW support. Twelve tables will be decorated to represent each month of the year, dessert and drinks will be served. The evening features a variety of entertainment including music and a performance by Sticks Youth Ministry, storytelling set to music by members of our youth group. Cost is $5 per person and tickets must be purchased in advance as there is a limit of 96 tickets.

Gospel Cafe returns The Gospel Cafe will open on Saturday, May 3 at Christ Evangelistic Church in Laurel. Dinner by Marilyns Catering will be held at 5 p.m. Music featuring Michael Falknor and Kaila Clucas from Delaware Teen Challenge will begin at 6. Open Mike Christian Night Open Mike Christian Night is the first and third Friday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Lighthouse Church. Free admission and free snacks. Bring your singing talents - CD or musical instrument. One person, group singers, young to seniors are welcome. Enjoy singing, praises and testimonials to the Lord. An array of great singers are already lined up. We are collecting donations of Vienna sausages, snacks and stuffed toys for kids backpacks. The church is located at 27225 Kaye Rd., Laurel. Easter services at Woodland Woodland United Methodist Church, 5123 Woodland Church Rd, Seaford, invites you to attend their Easter services.  Palm Sunday service will be held at 9 a.m. on April 17, followed by a New Member Reception. A Holy Thursday Service with communion will be held at 7 p.m. on April 17.  An Easter Egg Hunt for children through age 12 with be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19. The Easter Sunday service, featuring the Woodland choir who will perform the Easter Cantata Day Three arranged by Russell Maudlin, will be held at 9 a.m.  The church is located approximately 4 1/2 miles west of Seaford next to the Woodland Ferry House.

Hymn Sing & Potluck Dinner St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Delmar will hold an Old Fashioned Hymn Sing & Potluck Dinner on Sunday, April 27 from 4 to 7 p.m., in Camelot Hall. Join us for an evening with the Homeland Singers. Bring a covered dish (donations only) to benefit St. Stephens UMC. Everyone is welcome.
