New Living Water Church

Easter Musical at Wesleyan Church
Laurel Wesleyan Church will present a dramatic Easter musical "More Than Just A Man" on Thursday, April 13, at 7 p.m.; Good Friday, April 14 at 7 p.m.; and Easter Sunday, April 16, at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Nursery will be provided. Easter Musical at Alliance Church
The Choir of the Atlanta Road Alliance Church, Seaford will present the Easter cantata, "Amazing Love," on Thursday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 16, at 10:30 a.m. Written by Keith Ferguson and Bruce Greer and directed by Richard Trice, the musical is based on the Gospel of John, presenting the life of Jesus. From the opening of verses of John to the end of the Gospel where we are presented with the resurrected, reigning Christ, this is far more than words on a page and notes on a score. It is a worship experience. The Atlanta Road Alliance Church is located at 22625 Atlanta Road, 1-1/2 miles north of the intersection of Stein Highway and Atlanta Road. The concert is free. Trinity Easter sunrise service
Sunrise Service will be held on Easter Sunday, April 16, at Trinity United Methodist Church (near Trap Pond) at 6:30 a.m.. A fellowship breakfast will follow the service. Everyone is invited.

Greenwood UMC Holy Week
Greenwood United Methodist Church Holy Week services are as follows: on April 9, Palm Sunday service at 11 a.m.; also on April 9 at 6:30 p.m., a renewal service with special guests the "Garden Praise Band" from Gethsemane U.M.C. of Seaford; Good Friday service at 3 p.m.; Easter Sunrise service at 7 a.m., followed by a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m.; and Easter Service at 11 a.m. For more information, call 349-4047.

St. Luke's Palm Sunday service
St. Luke's Episcopal Church will observe Palm Sunday. The service will begin at 9 a.m. with palms distributed to the congregation commemorating Jesus' triumphal entrance into Jerusalem. The service will end on a more somber note with the reading of the Passion Gospel. Holy week will be observed with Holy Eucharist at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 10, Holy Eucharist followed by Stations of the Cross at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, and on Maundy Thursday an Agape Supper at 6 p.m. in the Parish House followed by Holy Eucharist at 7 p.m. in the church with stripping of the Altar, Reserving of the Sacrament, and a Prayer Vigil beginning at 8 p.m. The Good Friday service will begin at noon with the Good Friday Liturgy, Holy Communion from the Reserved sacrament and the reading of the Passion. The Liturgy of Christ at the Tomb will be read at 10 a.m. on Holy Saturday, April 15, and at 7 p.m. the Glorious Easter Vigil will be celebrated with special music and a decorated church. Easter Sunday's service is at 9 a.m. with a Festival Holy Eucharist. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Palm Sunday, Easter celebrations
The Cash Family will be appearing at Seaford Wesleyan Church during both the 9 and 10:15 a.m. services on April 9. Seaford Wesleyan Church, 'The Ark' is located at 26630 Sussex Highway. Seaford Wesleyan Church will have an "Easter Fun Day" on Saturday, April 15, from noon to 2 p.m. Children ages 2 through 12 are encouraged to attend. There will be games, prizes and an Easter egg hunt. Lunch will also be served. There is no fee for this event. Seaford Wesleyan Church is located at 26630 Sussex Highway. Melson's Palm Sunday musical

Jesus DVD Prayer Vigil
The Greater Seaford Ministerium is asking for prayer in support of the Jesus film which will be distributed to all homes throughout the Seaford zip code of 19973, April 10-15, Holy Week. Prayer services will be held at 8:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 8, for one hour at the following Seaford churches: Cannon Mennonite Church, Concord United Methodist Church, Gethsemane United Methodist Church and the Seaford Mission. Christian Church 'Master's 12'
The Master's Twelve of Roanoke Bible College, Elizabeth City, N.C., under the direction of Beth DonDurant, will present "A Story of Christ" at Christian Church of Seaford on Tuesday, April 11, 7 p.m. Traditional and contemporary songs and scripture comprise the hour-long program, sung entirely from memory. The program will be interpreted for the deaf. Roanoke is a ministerial training school of the Churches of Christ and Christian Churches. The young men and women in the chorus are preparing for full-time Christian service or obtaining a Bible foundation prior to entering other fields of work. The local appearance is part of a tour taking the group through North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. There will be no admission charge.

Open door for returning Catholics
Our Lady of Lourdes parish welcomes you home. If you are a Catholic who has been away from the church for a while, this invitation is for you. No matter how long you have been away, and for whatever reason, there is an invitation to you to consider renewing a relationship with the Catholic Church. There will be informal listening sessions and an update of the Catholic faith (everyone is welcome, no matter where they are from) held in the parish hall of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 532 Stein Highway, Seaford. All Walks of Life youth service
All Walks of Life Outreach Ministries on Sunday, April 23, at 4 p.m. there will be a youth service at All Walks of Life. The guest will be Bernard Holland of New Hope Ministries of Concord. Annual Women's Day
The annual Women's Day will take place at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Third and Chandler streets, Seaford on Sunday, April 9. The 11 a.m. Service speaker will be pastor Peggy Briggs. The 3:30 p.m. afternoon speaker will be the Rev. Alice Hutchins.

No Name Band at Grace UMC

Centenary Holy Week Services
Centenary U.M. Church, corner of Poplar and Market streets, Laurel, will have a combined worship service on April 9 at 11 a.m. following a Palm Sunday Processional down Market Street. The youth choir, adult choir and handbell choir will offer musical selections. At 7 p.m., Centenary will host the Community Holy Week service, sponsored by the Laurel Ministerial Association. Holy Communion will be offered. Everyone is welcome to attend. A Maundy Thursday service will be held at Centenary at 7 p.m. on April 13. Holy Communion will be offered. Centenary will have a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on April 14.

Easter Sunrise Service
There will be a community Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 16, at the Bridgeville Cemetery pond at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast following at Union United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (next to cemetery).

All Walks of Life Easter service
