Gospel Cafe Every Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. there is a Gospel Cafe in the Fellowship Hall at Laurel Baptist Church. Free Christian entertainment, live bands, local talent.Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 33056 Bi-State Blvd., Laurel.

Southern Gospel Concert A Southern Gospel Concert featuring The Anchormen from Goldsboro, N.C., will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Salisbury. There is no admission fee but a love offering will be taken. For more information, call 410-749-1394 or 846-3985.

Revival with Joel Hitchcock A Revival with Joel Hitchcock will be held at Central Worship Center in Laurel on Saturday, June 4 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 5 at 10:30 a.m. Nursery will be provided. For more information, call 875-7995.

Celebrate Recovery program Celebrate Recovery, a step program which claims Jesus Christ as its Higher Power, is meeting at St. John's United Methodist Church, Pine and Poplar Streets, on Tuesdays at 7p.m. in Room 14. Women's Ministries, Bible Study Women's Ministries and Bible Study meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army in Seaford, next to Food Lion. Girl Guard/Sunbeam Camp The Salvation Army in Seaford invites all girls entering 3rd through 12th grades to Girl Guard/Sunbeam Camp at The Salvation Army June 27-30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Camp includes lunch. The Salvation Army Girl Guard and Sunbeam Program (similar to other scouting programs) offers a holisticChristian education experience that helps girls develop social & communication habits, decision making & life skills and character & leadership. There is no fee for this camp, but you may only enroll if you are planning to commit to being part of the Girl Guard/Sunbeam Program September 2011 through June 2012. Free weekly soup social A free weekly soup social is held every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 510 S. Central Ave., Laurel. For details call 875-4233.

St. Luke's Newsletter St. Luke's Episcopal Church offers its newsletter online and also via email. Gosporium Music Gosporium Music Group, LLC, in conjunction with John Wesley United Methodist Church, presents a concert on June 4, at 5 p.m. Performing live will be the GMG Family which includes Bryant Richardson Sr., G-Camp Integrity and Redeemed. This program will be hosted by Gospel Comedian, Lisa Carter. The Proceeds will go to the John Wesley's Building Fund. The church is located at 3rd and Chandler streets, Seaford.

Cash Family ministers The Cash Family will be in concert at Laurel Baptist church on Sunday evening, June 5, at 7 p.m.

John Wesley UMC holds rally On June 18 at 4 p.m. there will be a Shade of Roses Rally at John Wesley United Methodist Church. All are invited. The church is located at 3rd and Chandler streets, Seaford.

Hymn Sing at Galestown UMC Galestown United Methodist Church will be holding a hymn sing Sunday, June 5, at 2 p.m. Bud School, Charlie Paperlie and Randy Marine will be ministering. There will be a buffet style meal after the service at the Galestown Community House. All are welcome.

Union UMC offers VBS, camps Union United Methodist Church in Bridgeville presents Vacation Bible School (VBS) - "Big Jungle Adventure, A Faith Journey with Jesus," - June 20 through June 24 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. VBS is free and open to children ages 3 through 5th grade. Dinner is served nightly at 5:30 p.m. There will be daily lessons, crafts, Bible challenges, storytelling, music and more. Pre-registration is now through June 19. Itzel family to perform Bill and Karen Itzel Ministries will appear at Christ United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St. (at the corner of Maple and Main), in Federalsburg, Md., on Sunday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m.Tickets are not required and a love offering will be taken. Everyone is invited to attend. Bill, who started with "The First Family of Gospel Music," the Speers, and was featured on two hit radio singles, "Saved to the Uttermost" and "He's Still in the Fire," tours with his wife, Karen and their three children, Jessica, Ryan and Shannon Bailey. Their style ranges from gospel to contemporary. The Itsels have been touring full-time for over 20 years and have over 40 recordings and 200 original songs and have performed in 3,000 concerts. VBS at Concord UMC Concord United Methodist Church in Seaford is offering a Vacation Bible School (VBS), Shake It Up Café, the week of June 20-24 from 6 to 8:30 p.m., for ages Pre-K through high school. Benefit Gospel Blue Grass Concert The Church of the Brethren in Farmington will be holding a Gospel Blue Grass Concert on Sunday, June 12, at 3 p.m. Music will be provided by the Delmarva Ramblers, Ashley Yoder, Autumn Grass, Stoney Run String Band and Joy Miller.
