Anna Parker Memorial Dinner
An all-you-can-eat chicken and dumpling buffet memorial dinner in honor of Anna Parker, on Sunday, March 12, Seaford Lodge 1728, 1 to 5 p.m. There will also be a cake wheel. All funds will go to the Diabetes Foundation in her memory. The price is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 10.

Sports Card Show Benefit

Fitness Classes Starting
Fitness classes started up the second week of March at St.John's U.M.C. Fellowship Hall, Seaford (sponsored by St. John's but open to the public), Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9 a.m. (a.m. only, free child-care) and Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 p.m. Beginners to intermediate participants welcome; co-ed, non-competitive, muscle-toning, stretching, high/low aerobic class. Master Gardner Workshop
The Sussex County Master Gardeners, of Delaware Cooperative Extension for both Delaware State University and University of Delaware, workshop, "Raised Bed Construction & Gardening," Tuesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. A slide presentation and model will demonstrate how to build a raised bed garden and show ways to minimize space and extend the growing season. Coast Guard Auxiliary
Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12-04 meets the second Thursday of each month at the Nanticoke Yacht Club in Blades. This month's meeting is Thursday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in promoting safe boating and would like to work with men and women who do vessel inspections, safety patrols and teach public safety courses, are welcome to join the Flotilla. Filled Basket Bingo at Club
Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club Longaberger filled basket bingo, Saturday, March 18. Each of the baskets will be filled with items centered around a theme. In addition, the first 100 ticket buyers will receive a Longaberger tote bag with a free lunch. Trip to Flower Show
Friday, March 10, 7:30 a.m., a bus will leave the CHEER Community Center at 20520 Sand Hill Road, Georgetown, and head to the Philadelphia Flower Show. The cost for your Flower Show and bus ticket is $46.50 per adult and $34.50 per child. The bus will stop for a 15 minute break in Smyrna going up and 15 minutes on the return trip. Orioles Vs. Yankees
The Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation Orioles vs. Yankees trip, Friday, June 2, to Camden Yards. The cost is $44 for each ticket and the bus. Tickets are in section 86 by the bullpen. The bus leaves the rear parking lot of the high school at 4 p.m.
