Mardi Gras for Hope House
Third annual Mardi Gras to benefit Hope House in Laurel, Saturday, Feb. 25, 8 p.m. to midnight, Laurel Fire Hall. Price is $25 a person. Music by the Honeycombs with light fare, silent auction and entertainment. Tickets available at Bank of Delmarva and Laurel Petroleum. Phone 875-9480.

Dance for Pop Warner
Mardi Gras dance to benefit Laurel Pop Warner, Saturday, Feb. 25, American Legion, Laurel. Doors will open at 8 p.m.; dance from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Music provided by DJ Brian K. Hall. Cash bar available,must be 21 or older to attend. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Midland Grange Benefit
The Roadhouse Steak Joint located at Midway Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach, will donate a percentage of its food sales to Midland Grange #27, Georgetown. The Grange will benefit from all meals served Monday, March 6. For details call Jo Ann Kruger 856-9495.

SVFD Ladies Auxiliary
Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Seaford Fire Hall, corner of Pine and King streets, the ladies auxiliary of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Dept. regular monthly meeting to celebrate its 71st birthday. Invited guests will include county officers of the ladies auxiliary of the Sussex County Delaware Volunteer Fireman's Association. Serving on the refreshment committee are Linda Russell, Isabel Stevenson and Megan Adams. Individuals interested in becoming prospective members are welcome to attend.

Irish Night at the Archives

Filled Basket Bingo at Club
Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club Longaberger filled basket bingo, Saturday, March 18. Each of the baskets will be filled with items centered around a theme. In addition, the first 100 ticket buyers will receive a Longaberger tote bag with a free lunch. Equine Council Dance
Delaware Equine Council's first benefit "A Casual Country Affair," dinner, dance, auction on Friday, March 24, 6 p.m., at Exhibitors' Hall, Delaware State Fairgrounds, Harrington. Trip to Flower Show
Friday, March 10, 7:30 a.m., a bus will leave the CHEER Community Center at 20520 Sand Hill Road, Georgetown, and head to the Philadelphia Flower Show. The cost for your Flower Show and bus ticket is $46.50 per adult and $34.50 per child. The bus will stop for a 15 minute break in Smyrna going up and 15 minutes on the return trip.
