Little League Basket Bingo
The Nanticoke Little League, Longaberger basket bingo on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m., Seaford Moose Lodge, U.S. 13A, Seaford; 20 games; several sets and regular line baskets as prizes. Bingomania Is Returning

Benefit For Delaware Storm
Delaware Storm 14U travel baseball team fundraiser, Monday, Feb. 6, Roadhouse Restaurant, Rehoboth Beach, 6-8 p.m. The proceeds will benefit the team as they will be traveling to Omaha, Neb., in June to attend a national tournament and will also be traveling to Kingsport, Tenn., to participate in the USSSA World Series in July. Free Parenting Classes
Child Inc. is offering free parenting classes at Tabernacle of Praise in Seaford until Feb. 18, 2006 on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. Topics include: Parent/Child communication, problem solving, decision making, stress in the family, and building self-esteem. Bay Foundation Training
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is offering its adult education/CBF volunteer training program "VoiCeS," Volunteers as Chesapeake Stewards, starting in January. The program is designed to create a deeper understanding of the Bay and the efforts needed to restore it. Successful graduates receive CBF's designation as Chesapeake Stewards. This year's programs will be held in both Annapolis and Cambridge. The training includes an eight-week course of study, with one three-hour class each week, and a service requirement of 40 hours devoted to a Bay-related project to be completed within one year. Classes cover a wide range of topics, including Bay ecology and history, wetlands, fisheries, land use, and advocacy. There is no fee to enroll in the VoiCeS training program; participants instead are asked to commit to completing both program components. Pre-registration is required.
