The Seaford Police Department paid tribute to Pfc. James Henry Hill who died during patrol in July 1970. Hill suffered a heart attack and drove himself to the hospital where he later died. Local historian, Jim Bowden researched Hills death and located a photo that was developed into a painting that will now hang in the hallway of the Seaford Police Department in honor of Hills service. On hand for the presentation were current and past members of the Seaford Police Department, from left: Preston Minner, Jim Parker, Seaford Police Chief Gary Flood, historian Jim Bowden, former police chiefs Bob Miller and Gary Morris and Bill Pinky Higgins.
