Dinner in Delmar
The 23rd annual Ford Brewington, Jr. Christmas Day Fellowship Dinner (free), sponsored by the Delmar American Legion, Dec. 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Delmarva Convention Center. Donations are needed and carry-outs are accepted. Phone 846-3780 for more information.

Family New Year’s Eve
Family Night New Year’s Eve Celebration, Dec. 31 - Jan. 1, Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. $5 and covered dish admission for entire family. Events planned for all night including swimming, music, games, etc.

AARP Chapter #5340 meeting Jan. 3 at Sussex Pines Country Club in Georgetown, with lunch at noon. Guest speaker will be Tina Buckingham, program director of Contact Delaware Rape Crisis. Nanticoke Auxiliary Meeting
Annual Nanticoke Health Services Auxiliary meeting, Wednesday, Jan. 12, 11 a.m., Seaford Golf & Country Club. Lunch is $10. Annual gift presentation to the hospital.

CLASSES

Fitness classes start Monday, Jan. 3, and Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005 at St. John’s United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, (sponsored by St. John’s but open to the public). Monday-Wednesday, Friday, 9 a.m. (a.m. only - free childcare) and Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 p.m. Beginners to intermediate participants are welcome in this co-ed, non-competitive, muscle-toning, stretching/hi-lo aerobic class. VFW Bingo on Jan. 9
Bingo at Seaford VFW 4961, second Sunday of each month. This month will be Jan. 9. Doors open at 5:15 p.m., games start at 7 p.m.

MLK Celebration on Jan. 17
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Day of Celebration, Monday, Jan. 17. Prayer breakfast, Seaford Golf & Country Club, 8 a.m., tickets are $10. Celebration continues at the Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., teen summit, community recognition, entertainment, theme contest, door prizes, lunch, free admission. Stay & Play at Parks & Rec
The “Parents As Teachers” (PAT) Stay & Play — Parents and children (birth to age three) are invited to play together, listen to a story, learn new songs and finger plays, and network with other families.
