Library Family Program
On Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 6:30 p.m., families with children of all ages are invited to come and enjoy Christmas stories, Christmas crafts, and Christmas refreshments! Laurel Christmas parade
The Laurel Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that the Woodland String Band from Philadelphia will be in the Laurel Christmas Parade on Dec. 13. The parade begins at 7 p.m. The Woodland String Band has won many awards during the annual Mummers Day Parade.
The parade will begin on Evergreen Drive and proceed to North Central Avenue. The theme for the parade is “Bicentennial Christmas.”

Breakfast with Santa
The Western Sussex Boys and Girls Club-Laurel Site will be holding a “Breakfast with Santa” on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 8 a.m.-noon. The prices are $5 for children, $3 for adults, and children under 3 are free. Every child who has paid gets a breakfast (pancakes, sausage, beverage), free gifts worth at least $10, and a conversation with Santa. Breakfast with Santa will add a special touch to your child’s Christmas! Pre-registration is required, please contact the Boys and Girls Club at 875-1200.
Anyone in Laurel area wishing to have their house judged must submit an application which may be picked up at the Laurel Library, MCM Jewelers, Bev’s Specs or the Chamber Office. Applications must be submitted, in order to be judged, for houses in the town limits as well as out of town limits. Entries must be returned to the Chamber Office before noon on Dec. 17 and the judging will be done between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20.
