Laurel Christmas Parade
Laurel Christmas parade, Friday, Dec. 10. Stepping off at 7 p.m., the parade will march through Laurel's downtown area, ending near Five Points. Raindate is Saturday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. Sponsors are the Laurel Chamber of Commerce and the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department. For details call 875-9319.

Victorian Christmas at Mansion

Critter Christmas at Zoo
A Critter Christmas at the Salisbury Zoo will be Friday and Saturday, Dec. 10 and 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. A free gift will be given to the first 100 children under eight years old each night, compliments of Mitchell's Martial Arts. Visitors will enter the zoo through the east gate, where they may see a glimpse of the night-time habits of animals. An early visit from Santa and his elves is planned. Cruise to Bermuda
Seaford AARP Chapter 1084 is sponsoring a Bermuda cruise aboard Celebrity Horizon, out of Norfolk April 30-May 7, 2005. Ports of call include Hamilton and St. George. Trip to Longwood Gardens
Sussex County Senior Services, Inc./CHEER will be taking one final bus trip in 2004 to Longwood Gardens, on Wed., Dec. 15. The bus will depart from the CHEER Community Center in Georgetown at noon and return at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and include lunch. The bus will stop at the Old Country Buffet. Trip to New York City
The Methodist Manor House will host a two-day, one-night trip to New York City on Dec. 15 and 16.
