Paramedic Program earns continuing accreditation
Delaware Technical & Community College's EMT-Paramedic Technology Program recently received continuing accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). The program was noted for its substantial compliance with the nationally established accreditation standards in the Paramedic training field. The EMT-Paramedic Technology program prepares students to recognize, assess or manage a medical emergency, record and communicate pertinent data to medical officials, and coordinate the transport of patients. This college-wide program provides graduates to meet the employment needs of all three counties in the State of Delaware.
