'Christmas in Bridgeville' Dec. 2
The 25th Annual "Christmas in Bridgeville," sponsored by the Bridgeville Historical Society, will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Woodbridge High School. Admission is free. Chances available on an 'Antique Oak Round Table' to be given away at 3 p.m. Over 75 vendors will be showing their wares ranging from homemade goodies, crafts, including wooden items, dolls, candles, Christmas decorations, quilts, poinsettias and Christmas greens. Lunch will be prepared by "Jimmy's Grille" in the school cafeteria.

Holiday Bazaar Dec. 16
Todd's Chapel, Rt. 16, Greenwood will hold its Holiday Bazaar on Dec. 16, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Many holiday gifts will be available. Door prizes will be given.

Trip to Christmas Show Dec. 21 reserve tickets now
The Bridgeville Senior Center is sponsoring a trip to the Three Little Bakers' production of a Christmas Show on Thursday, Dec. 21. The cost of the trip is $45 and reservations are being taken now. Space is limited so please call 337-8771 to reserve your seat now. Ask about our easy "lay-away" plan.

Ellendale Fundraiser, Feb. 17, tickets on sale now

Tickets are now on sale for the Ellendale Community Civic Improvement Association, Inc., third annual fundraiser and banquet to help raise funds for sewer hook-up fees for residents of Ellendale who may need assistance. The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at 5 p.m., at the Milford Senior Center, Northeast Front Street, Milford.Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, and can be purchased from Johnnie Williams, 856-3125. In addition to the fundraiser, nine outstanding community service awards will be presented. Two local people, Jesse Jean Evans and Martha Massey, both of Bridgeville, are among those to be honored. Donations are accepted. Checks may be made, payable to ECCIA and mailed to ECCIA, Inc., Attention: Harold Truxon, president; P.O. Box 327, Ellendale, DE 19941 Any businesses, individuals, churches, civic or community organizations who would like to purchase a table ($250) can do so and their name will be placed on the table as a contributor, as well as listed in advertisements.
