Elections are set for Jan. 8
Three seats to be up for grabs

Bridgeville's election of three town commissioners will be held Jan. 8, 2000. Positions open are the one-year term held by Glenn Miles, a two-year term held by Margaret Sipple and a two-year term held by Willie Pierce.
Residents must be registered on the Books of Registers to be eligible to vote in this election. Residents have until Thursday, Dec. 30, to register at town hall.
The election is Saturday, Jan. 8, from noon to 7 p.m.
Streets commissioner Margaret Sipple has announced that a ramp for the handicapped will be installed at the front door of town hall.
In other news, Bridgeville police chief Allen Parsons was recently awarded the Rotary Club 1999 Community Service Award.
