Thanksgiving dinner planned
Bridgeville Union Methodist Church will host a community Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 23, at noon. For information, call 337-7409.

Breakfast will benefit youth
A pancake and sausage breakfast will be held at Delmar Church of God of Prophecy, U.S. 13 and Dorthy Road, on Saturday, Nov. 25, 7 to 10 a.m. Admission for adults is $4 and for children 8 and under, $2. Proceeds will benefit youth activities.

HeartSounds to return
Nationally-known Celtic flute and harp duet HeartSounds will make a return visit to St. John's United Methodist Church in Seaford. The concert, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, will be held in the church sanctuary at Pine and Poplar streets, Seaford. Mary Kay Mann (flutes, whistles, vocals) and Janet Witman (Celtic harp) perform original elegant, lyrical arrangements of traditional Celtic and American folk music. They punctuate performances with explanatory comments that combine dry wit with scholarship.

Jericho to host evangelists
Jericho Fellowship International will meet Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m., at Mt. Olivet Church, High Street, Seaford. Evangelists Mike and Jane Maloney will be guest speakers. The Maloneys started For His Glory Ministries three years ago. They will be accompanied by singers Ray Fisher, Pam Kunz and Patricia White. Two years ago, Jane Maloney published an album of songs she wrote. She will publish a second this year. She also has a radio program on secular radio, WCEI in Easton, 96.7 FM, which airs every Sunday evening. For details, call 629-5654.

Ninety & Nine to meet
The Ninety & Nine will hold its annual Christmas dinner meeting at the Seaford Golf & Country Club on Monday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m. Guest speakers will be John and Joan Mills from Greenwood. Joan Mills teaches a women's Sunday school class and weekly Bible study. She is an author and her writings have appeared in 50 various magazines. Both Mills have led youth retreats as well as marriage seminars. The topic of their message will be "Endurance in the Christian Life." The singer for the evening is Esther Marvel of Seaford. Portsville to host breakfast
An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Portsville United Methodist Church, Portsville. Cost is $4 for adults, $2 for children.
