Princess lessons
On Friday, Nov. 14, 6 p.m., girls age nine and older are invited to attend a special series of programs at the Greenwood Library entitled, “Princess Lessons 101.” Inspired by the movie, “Princess Diaries,” girls will learn how to behave like a real princess beginning with table manners. Spaghetti Dinner
Greenwood CHEER will have an All-U-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $4 in advance and $5 at the door. Proceeds benefit congregate and homebound meal programs. Call 349-5237 for more information.

Chicken dinner
The C.H. Foggie A.M.E. Zion Church, Federalsburg Road near Bridgeville, will have a dinner on Saturday, Nov. 15, from noon to 4 p.m. with fried chicken and chicken and dumplings for $7 and oysters for an additional $1. Pies and cakes will also be for sale. Phone 337-0546 for more information.

  Craft show
The Greenwood Mennonite School Christmas Craft Show will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. There will be refreshments, furniture, baked goods, toys, crafters, and poinsettias. The school is located between route 16 and 36 near Greenwood.

Annual Christmas in Bridgeville upcoming
The 28th Annual Christmas in Bridgeville, sponsored by the Bridgeville Historical Society, will be Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Woodbridge High School. Admission is $1. Chances will be available from the society on an Antique Spinet Desk to be given away at 3 p.m. More than 75 vendors will be showing their wares ranging from homemade goodies, crafts, including wooden items, dolls, candles, Christmas decoration, quilts, poinsettias and Christmas greens. Santa Claus will pay us a visit between 10 a.m. and noon. Lunch will be catered by Jimmy’s Grille.
