Caroling at Gateway Park

Downtown Seaford Association Christmas Parade, Saturday, Dec. 4, 7 p.m. - “ A Five Star Christmas.” Line-up and registration begins at 4:30 p.m. For more information, phone 628-2828. The raindate is Sunday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m.

Victorian Christmas at Mansion
Victorian Christmas at the Ross Mansion, sponsored by Seaford Historical Society. Friday, Dec. 10, 5 to 7 p.m. - wine, cheese and tour, $10 a person. Saturday, Dec. 11, and Sunday, Dec. 12, 1 to 4 p.m. - tours at $5 a person. Christmas Boutique also taking place. Phone 628-7788.

AARP Meeting Nov. 11
AARP Seaford Area Chapter 1084 meets Thursday, Nov. 11, at Methodist Manor House Fellowship Hall, 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford, 1:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Sen. Robert L. Venables, topic: stem cell research. Seaford area includes western Sussex County from Delmar to Greenwood. Guests are welcome. Call 875-5086.

Acorn Club Meeting
GFWC-Acorn Club of Seaford meets Thursday, Nov. 11, 7 p.m., at the Methodist Manor House. The meeting will be Public Affairs “Honor Our Veterans” with hostess Norma Lee Temple.
Republican Women’s Club
Seaford Republican Women’s Club meets Thursday, Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m., Pizza King Restaurant. Lunch will be available following the meeting. The speaker will be Dr. David Kirchman, associate dean of the University of Delaware College of Marine Studies, Lewes. He will give an overview of the college. The meeting is open to the public. Elks Dinner Theatre

“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” will be presented at Seaford High School on Nov. 18, 19, 20 and 23 at 7 p.m. and on Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. in the Madden Auditorium.

Stay & Play at Parks & Rec
The “Parents As Teachers” (PAT) Stay & Play — Parents and children (birth to age three) are invited to play together, listen to a story, learn new songs and finger plays, and network with other families.
