Fall festival at Shiloh to be Nov. 6
Shiloh Community Church will hold its fall festival Nov. 6. There will be yard sales. Oysters and the trimmings will be available throughout the festival.

Kids' Club set for every Wednesday
Christ United Methodist Church, Laurel, is hosting a weekly, after-school fellowship group for children called Kids' Club. The weekly fellowship group will include safe homework hours, tutoring, meals, music, recreation and crafts. The club will meet on each Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The Rev. Dr. Brooks Reynolds of Christ United Methodist Church welcomes the children of the community to join the activities and fellowship.

Wesleyan Church plans family fall weekend
Laurel Wesleyan Church will host a "Fabulous Fall Family Weekend" Nov. 12-14. The following events have been planned:
Friday, Nov. 12 - community gospel sing at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 13 - Family games and movie night. A children's movie as well as a movie for the adults, "A Vow To Cherish," will be shown.
Sunday, Nov. 14 - Friend Day. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; morning worship at 10:30 a.m.; pot-luck dinner at noon; baptismal service at 1 p.m.

Ron Kenoly to be at Wicomico Center
Ron Kenoly, a Christian praise and worship leader, will be at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, U.S. 50 at Civic Ave., Salisbury, on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. For tickets, call 410-548-4911.

Melson's UMC plans annual fall bazaar
Melson's 15th annual Harvest of Talents will be Saturday, Nov. 13, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Melson's Community Hall, 32704 Melson Road, approximately 5 miles east of Delmar, Md. There will be crafts, Christmas items, a country store and collectibles. Breakfast sandwiches an lunch featuring oyster sandwiches and homemade soup will be available. For details call 846-2431.

Lights of Home to be at Bethel homecoming
Bethel United Methodist Church will have its homecoming service on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. Guest singers will be The Lights of Home. Speaker will be pastor Richard Walton. A beef and dumpling dinner will follow the service.

Church to host revival
The Rock Church of Seaford will hold revival services Nov. 5, 6 and 7, with evangelist Mike Monk. Monk and his wife, Janie have served in the ministry for 25 years. He was the founding pastor of the Christian Fellowship Full Gospel Church of Lecanto, Fla., where he served for 12 years before launching into a full-time traveling ministry.
The Rock Church of Seaford is located at 1005 Norman Eskridge Highway (Rt. 20 West). Services will be at 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 6, and at 10:30 on Sunday, Nov. 7. For more information call 628-0565.
Woodland to host Sounds of Grace
Woodland United Methodist Church will host an evening of Christian fellowship Sunday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. The service will feature the music of The Sounds of Grace.

Church to honor bus and truck drivers
On Sunday, Nov. 7, Bus and Truck Drivers' Day services will be held at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary AME Church, Concord. Speakers will be the Rev. Mt. Calvary AME to hold fall revival
A fall revival, "Reclaiming the Fire of the Pentecost Experience," will be held at Mt. Calvary AME Church, Concord, Nov. 10-12, at 7 p.m. each evening. Pastor Carolyn Vessel of Way of Life AME Church, Chicago, Ill., will speak. Sponsor is the Steward Board. For more information, call 629-1392.

Portsville Church to hold fall bazaar
The annual fall bazaar sponsored by the Portsville Church United Methodist Women will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Lunch will be served beginning at 11 a.m. featuring vegetable soup, oyster fritters, chicken salad and hot dog sandwiches, and home made pie. There will be a bake table, country store, white elephant table and new and used apparel.
The church is located 3 miles west of Laurel at the intersection of Portsville and Kenney Roads.

Sale to benefit flood damage fund Nov. 13
Seaford Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a private moving and yard sale to benefit its flood damage fund. This sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., at the Eastern Star building, corner of Stein Highway and N. Pine Street Ext.
During Floyd the basement was flooded with 29 inches of water, which damaged Sunday school rooms, kitchen and reception hall.

Bethany Church to hold homecoming
Bethany Church, Lowes Crossroads near Millsboro, will hold its homecoming celebration Nov. 14, with service at 1:30 p.m. Guest speaker is the Rev. Mark Avens and music will be by the Long Neck Bell Choir. Dinner will follow the service.
