Class of 1985 to meet
The Seaford Senior High School class of 1985 will hold its 15-year reunion dinner and dance on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Seaford Golf and Country Club. Center planning trip
The Nanticoke Senior Center is sponsoring a trip to see the annual Christmas show at the Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre, Wednesday, Nov. 8. The bus leaves the center at 3 p.m. Cost is $45 for members and $50 for non-members. Call (302)- 629-4939 for more details.

Acorn Club to meet tonight
"Spooky Fun" will be the program for the Acorn Club of Seaford on Oct. 26. The meeting will be in the Seaford Library Community Room at 7:30 p.m.
Candy corn and apple cider will be served by hostess Deborah O'Bier, and her committee, Dian Bush, Dorothy Dixon, Louise Ellis, Phyllis Hansen, Edie Irwin, Rinky Kinnamon and Charlotte Wheatley.
Democrats to hold dinner
The annual Truman-Kennedy chicken and dumpling dinner, sponsored by the Sussex County Women's Democrat Club, will be Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Bridgeville Fire Hall, at 6 p.m. The public is invited to purchase tickets in advance by calling George Adams at 349-4819 for this fun-filled night with door prizes and an auction. Sen. Joe Biden will be the featured speaker. State-wide candidates expected to attend include Gov. Tom Carper, Lt. Gov. Ruth Ann Minner, John Carney, Mike Miller and Karen Stewart, candidate for insurance commissioner.
Babies can dress up
The Stay and Play Center at Seaford Dept. of Parks and Recreation, 320 Virginia Avenue, Seaford, will hold Halloween dress-up for babies and toddlers Monday, Oct. 30, 10:30 a.m.-noon. For information call 875-2781.
Trick or Treat at church
Christ Lutheran Church, on the corner of Shipley and Spruce streets, Seaford, will be giving candy to all trick or treaters from 6 to 8 p.m.
Elks to host variety show

Supper to include oysters
On Saturday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m., a buffet supper with oysters will be held at Cokesbury Community Center, near Reliance. Price is $8. No carry outs. This is sponsored by the United Methodist Women.
Nov. 7 workshop cancelled
The workshop meeting of the Woodbridge Board of Education scheduled for Nov. 7 has been cancelled due to Election Day. Schools in the Woodbridge School District are closed on that date.
TRIAD meeting Nov. 9
The Western Sussex County TRIAD will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Nanticoke Senior Center, 310 Virginia Ave., Seaford. The topic will be Neighborhood Watch.
