Seaford Lions Basket Bingo
The Seaford Lions Club Longaberger Basket Bingo, Thursday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m., at the Seaford Moose, U.S. 13A, 20 games and will feature several basket combinations including the 2004 Christmas sets, Collector Club Ware basket, along with several regular line baskets as prizes. Advance tickets are $20 per person, $25 at the door. Refreshments will be available. For ticket information contact any Lions member or call 628-8887.

Parks and Rec Basket Bingo
Seaford Parks and Recreation basket bingo, featuring Longaberger baskets, a 50/50 raffle and door prizes, Tuesday, Oct.19, at 7 p.m. Cost is $20 per ticket and can be purchased by calling 629-6809. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the VFW on Middleford Road, Seaford. All proceeds benefit the Seaford youth football and cheerleading programs. For more information call 629-6809.

Car Show at Wesley Church
Car Show, Wesley U.M. Church, Seaford, Saturday, Oct. 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast and lunch. Proceeds benefit the Wesley Church building fund. Church is located at the intersection of Atlanta Road and Wesley Church Road.

SVFD Auxiliary Basket Bingo
Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department to hold a Longaberger Basket Bingo, Thursday, Oct. 7, 7 p.m., at Seaford Volunteer Fire Hall, corner of King and Cannon streets, Seaford. Roast Beef Dinner in Seaford
Roast beef dinner, Mt. Olivet UM Church, High Street, Seaford, Friday, Oct. 22, 5 to 7 p.m. Take-outs available. $8.50 for adults; $4.50 for students; under 5 free. Silent auction also.

Elks Children’s Party
The Seaford Elks Lodge 2458 will have its annual children’s Halloween Party at the Elks Lodge on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. The Lodge is located on Elks Road, north of Seaford. There will be prizes for costumes - most original, funniest, and scariest. Games will be played, with refreshments served at the conclusion of the party. VFW Bingo Starts Oct. 10
Bingo at Seaford VFW 4961, second Sunday of each month. This month will be Oct. 10. Doors open at 5:15 p.m., games start at 7 p.m.

Candidates’ Forum Oct. 17
Seaford Community Education Funding Coalition (CEFC) candidates’ forum, Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m., Central Elementary School auditorium. The forum is open to the public and Mary Ellen Farquhar will be the moderator. There will be time to meet the candidates at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium lobby and light refreshments will be served.

Seaford High Class of 1964
Seaford High School Class of 1964 40-year reunion will be Oct. 9, Seaford Fire Hall, 6 p.m. The classes of 1963 and 1965 are also invited. Tickets are $19 per person and include a sit-down dinner and entertainment. Call 629-8806 or 629-6837.
Library’s International Festival

St. John’s House Tour
