Harvest Day Yard Sale
Harvest Day Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, in Downtown Seaford from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Downtown Seaford will be decorated for the fall season. For more information contact Jane Short at 629-7097.

Peer Sharing Group
The Nanticoke Senior Center is glad to offer this support group for seniors. Any senior needing someone to talk to or maybe willing to listen is welcome to come. Meetings are every Thursday, at 1 p.m. Call 629-4939 for more details.

Woodbridge 1990 Reunion
The Woodbridge Class of 1990 will hold its 10-Year Reunion Dinner & Dance on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Bridgeville Fire Hall. Buffet supper with oysters Cokesbury Community Center, near Reliance, will host a Buffet Supper with Oysters on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m., one seating only. There will be no carry outs. The public is invited; cost is $8. This is sponsored by United Methodist Women.

All-you-can-eat dinner
All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner including garlic bread, salad, drink, and dessert at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Oct. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is a donation towards the projection system for our new church. The church is 4 miles west of Seaford on Rt. 20.

Chamber dinner meeting
The Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce will hold its general membership meeting on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Seaford Golf & Country Club. Social time begins at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. Reservations must be made in advance. At the meeting officers and directors will be elected, business person of the year award presented and there will be "Faberge - a Broughton Masterpiece Presentation."

Main Street Program
Delaware Main Street Program is dedicated to assisting communities in maintaining a strong and vibrant downtown commercial district. Linda Harper of Linda Harper Associates from Washington, D.C., was retained to provide the Seaford Main Street Program with its request for fund-raising guidance. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the meetings held the second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in Seaford Council Chambers. October TRIAD meeting
The Western Sussex County TRIAD will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m., at the Nanticoke Senior Center located at 310 Virginia Ave., Seaford. The TRIAD is comprised of citizens and law enforcement working together to ensure safety and quality of life needs of senior citizens. The topic for the next meeting will be Crime Prevention Tips and How to Avoid becoming a Victim of a Scam. Everyone is welcome.

Tax-Aide seeks volunteers AARP Tax-Aide, the nation's largest, free, volunteer-run tax counseling and preparation service, is looking for volunteers to help senior and low income taxpayers complete their 2000 federal and state income tax forms. For more information contact Bill Watt 629-7309.

Three Little Bakers show
Nanticoke Senior Center is sponsoring a trip to see the annual Christmas show at the Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre, Wednesday, Nov. 8. Cost is $45 for members and $50 for non-members. Call 629-4939 for details.

Parks and Recreation trip
A trip is planned to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on Sunday, Nov. 26. Cost is $76 per person including the bus and the show. Call 629-6809 for tickets.
