Class of 1973 reunion

The Class of 2005 will hold a Chicken Barbeque on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Cock and Bull (Rt. 13 and 20 E). Dinners are $5 each and include chicken, roll, chips and a pickle. The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4961 on Middleford Road in Seaford is having an All-You-Can-Eat breakfast on Sunday, Sept. 21, at the Post. The breakfast, held from 8 until 11 a.m., includes meats, eggs cooked to order, pancakes, toast, coffee and juice. The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12. Please come enjoy the auxiliary’s hospitality and help support veterans at home and abroad.
Women’s GOP Club
The Seaford Republican Women’s Club will meet at the home of Sally Higgins, 115 North Hall St., on Thursday, Sept. 25. Social hour will be at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The program for the evening will be Seaford’s Chief of Police, Gary Morris, giving us an overview of the work of the Seaford Police and his outlook for the future. A short business meeting will follow the program. Each member is asked to bring one new members. Present and past members will be called before Monday, Sept. 22, to verify attendance. Acorn Club meeting
The Acorn Club of Seaford will hold their meeting on Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Seaford Library at 7:30 p.m. Convention highlights will be discussed and new members will be inducted. The club belongs to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
Elks Dinner Theater
“A Murder in Cripple Crik,” an amateur comedy-drama Dinner Theatre, will be presented by the Seaford Elk Lodge 2458 on Friday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Oct. 18.
Dinner Buffet at 6 p.m. and play at 8 p.m. on both nights. All the cast are Elk members or their families. Advance tickets only. Deadline for sales will be Oct. 14. Seats are $15 per person on a first come basis with equal opportunity given to all.

This is the second Dinner Theatre presented at the Seaford Elk Lodge and both were written by Elk member, Janice Cecil. Both nights were sold out for the last one!
