Seaford High School dates
The following dates are early plans for Seaford High School 2000-2001 school year (all dates are subject to change). First Day of School, Sept. 5; Underclassmen Pictures, Sept. 15; Class Ring Orders, Sept. 28; Open House, Oct. 12, 7 p.m.; Homecoming, Oct. 13; Senior Cap & Gown Orders, Oct. 26; Winter Concert, Dec. 19; Winter Formal, Jan. 13, 2001; Jr.Sr. Prom, May 5; Senior's Last Day, May 31; Graduation, June 8; Last Day for Underclassmen, June 8.

TRIAD meeting Sept. 14
The Western Sussex County TRIAD will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. at the Nanticoke Senior Center located at 310 Virginia Ave., Seaford. The TRIAD organization is comprised of citizens and law enforcement working together to ensure for the safety and quality of life needs of senior citizens. The topic for the next TRIAD meeting will be Health and Nutrition and the presenter will be Linda Mancuso. All members of the community are invited to attend.

New fitness session starts
New Fitness Session started Sept. 5-6. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 9 a.m. (free child care), Tuesdays, Thursdays at 5:30 p.m., at St. John's United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Co-ed, non- competitive, stress reducing, high/low aerobic, toning, strengthening, and stretching class. Try a free one! Covered dish supper The Bethel Church Community, Oak Grove Road, west of Seaford, invites the public to bring a covered dish and enjoy an evening of fellowship at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 9. Call Lucy Slacum, 629-7117.

Pool Open House Sept. 11-15
The Nanticoke Senior Center will be having an open house for our pool, Sept. 11-15, 6:30 a.m. to noon. Try the pool or one of our water exercise classes free for one week. Call 629-4939 for more details or to sign up.

Civil War AARP topic
Seaford Chapter 1084 of the American Association of Retired Persons will meet at the Methodist Manor House, 1001 Middleford Road, Thursday, Sept. 14, at 1:30 p.m. Dr. Gary Wray will be the guest, speaking on Delaware involvement in the Civil War.

Parks and Rec NY trip
A trip is planned to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on Sunday, Nov. 26. Cost is $76 per person including the bus and the show. Bus leaves Seaford at 7:15 a.m. and returns to Seaford at 10 p.m. There will be time for shopping before and after the show. Call Seaford Parks and Recreation at 629-6809 for information and tickets.
