	Gospel Concert Sept. 10 Portsville United Methodist Church will be having a Gospel Concert on Sunday, Sept. 10, during morning worship service beginning at 8:50 a.m. The singers will be "The Sounds of Grace" of Bridgeville. Yard Sale Saturday Christ The Cornerstone Community Church, on Bethel Road and US 13A, will host a yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 9, beginning at 7 a.m. Space available for $10. Bring your own tables. Women's Day 2000 United Deliverance Bible Center will hold a "Women's Day 2000 Celebration" on Sunday, Sept. 10, at morning service 11:30 a.m. and afternoon service, 5 p.m. The church is located at 532 West Seventh St., Laurel. The Ninety & Nine The Ninety & Nine extends an invitation to join them for their Quarterly Dinner Meeting at The Methodist Manor House in Seaford, on Monday, September 11, at 6:30 p.m. The Ninety & Nine is a ministry, which was formed in 1984 by a group of women who care about the needs of others. We are privileged to have as our Guest Speaker for the evening JoAnn Bolen of Salisbury. She attends Emmanuel Wesleyan Church with her husband of 38 years. The Bolens have two sons, one daughter, and three grandsons. JoAnn has walked with the Lord for many years and gives Him the Glory for the great and mighty things He has done. One great blessing He recently did was allow JoAnn to visit the Holy Land - an experience she will never forget. In addition to hearing about her trip, you will also hear how He delivered her of insecurity and a habit of "name-calling." JoAnn wants you to know that our God answers prayer and gives us our heart's desires. Our guest singer for the evening is Vera Bolen. She will be warming your hearts as she sings praises to the Lord with her guitar. Vera gave her heart to Jesus in a ten meeting when she was eight years old. She and her husband, Richard, have been married 36 years, and have three children and six grandchildren with one on the way. Reservations are necessary. Bible Study Workshop A Precept Bible Study Workshop, sponsored by WOLC 102.5, "Joy On the Air," will be presented by Precept Ministries of Chattanooga, Tenn. The Workshop for students, potential leaders, or current leaders, will be held Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 14, 15, 16, at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, Md. Classes will be held each day from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be three levels of classes beginning with classes for those with little or no previous knowledge of inductive studies and extending to a class for those with extensive prior knowledge. Gospel sing September 16 The Cornerstone Notes will kick off the 11th annual gospel sing to be held in Delmar Park, Saturday, Sept. 16. Several other groups will be singing throughout the day until 4 p.m. Family activities, food, fun, festivities, praise and worship. Bring you own lawn chairs. What must I do to be saved?
