Towne & Country Fair Prayer Breakfast Sept. 1
The Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce, Seaford Historical Society and Seaford Kiwanis are sponsoring a Prayer Breakfast at the Towne & Country Fair on Saturday, Sept. 1, beginning at 8 a.m. The Prayer Breakfast will be held in a tent on the grounds of the Gov. Ross Plantation, North Pine Street Extended, Seaford. A limited number of tickets are available at $10 each. The sponsors are not scheduling a big-name speaker, but instead hope to involve pastors from different churches to show and promote unity. The tent will remain up all day on the Mansion grounds to provide a place for the entertainment features. To obtain tickets to the prayer breakfast contact the Chamber office at 629-9690 or see the ad on page 25 of this edition of the Star.
