Soccer Car Washes
Seaford Boys Soccer Boosters car washes are scheduled as follows: Saturday, Sept. 11 (varsity); Saturday, Sept. 18 (JV); Saturday, Oct. 9 (middle school). The car washes will take place at Subway on Stein Highway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Yard Sale at Wesley Church
Wesley United Methodist Church giant multi-vendor yard sale (corner of Atlanta and Wesley Church roads, Seaford), Saturday, Aug. 21, 7 a.m.-noon, (rain date -Aug. 28). Renting 12x10-foot spaces for $10, tables available for $5. Deadline for renting spaces is Aug. 20, by 4 p.m. Contact Pastor Ed Kuhling at 629-3029 or 337-0618.

Fitness Classes Beginning Fitness classes start up again on Tuesday, Sept. 7, and Wednesday, Sept. 8, at St. Johnís United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (sponsored by St. Johnís but open to the public) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, at 9 a.m. (free child care, a.m. only), and Tuesday and Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. Beginners to intermediate participants welcome in this co-ed, non-competitive, muscle-toning, stretching/hi-lo aerobic class. Karate Class in Seaford
Beginners Karate class, Monday nights starting Sept. 20 through Dec. 6, 6 to 7 p.m., ages 6 and up.Cost is $50, instructor is Steve Ramey. Call 629-6809 or stop by the Seaford Dept. of Parks Recreation Office to register.

Few spots left for Victorian Tea at Ross Mansion
A few places are left for the Fall Victorian Tea at the Ross Mansion which will be on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 2 p.m. The charge is $10 per person. Reservations are required. This is an event in the atmosphere of the restored, historic Gov. Ross Home. Servers in costume add to the ambiance of this social event. Jeanne Conner does extensive research to plan food items that are out of the ordinary, yet different for each tea. Seating is pre-arranged with four people at a table. Parties who would like to sit together should make their reservations accordingly. Only 40 people can be accommodated. For reservations call Ruthe Wainwright at 629-8765.
