Community Night Out Against Crime and Drugs
The Seaford Police Department and the Delaware State Police invite everyone to join them on the grounds of the Central Elementary School on Thursday, Aug. 17, to "give crime and drugs a going away party."
From 5 to 8 p.m. those attending can enjoy a hamburger or hot dog and soft drink and listen to music by the "Rumors" band. They may also view various law enforcement exhibits, see canine units at work, talk to representatives from Blockwatch and victims' services and have their baseball pitch clocked by radar.

Police are asking residents to turn their outside lights on, to come out with their neighbors and meet their police officers.
The Night Out Against Crime is organized to send a message out to criminals and drug dealers that they are not welcome.
