All-You-Can-Eat breakfast
The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4961 on Middleford Road in Seaford is having an All-You-Can-Eat breakfast on Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Post. The breakfast, held from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m., includes meats, eggs cooked to order, pancakes, toast, coffee and juice. The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under twelve. The Auxiliary members are attempting to raise money for a scholarship given every year to a Seaford High School senior. Come enjoy the breakfast and show your support for this worthy community project.

Bike tour to take place during Towne & Country Fair
The Discover Bank Mason Dixon Metric Century Bike Tour will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31, during the Towne & Country Fair. Entry forms are available by contacting Ron MacArthur at 629-8740 or at ronmacky45@hotmail.com. The cost of $25 includes a T-shirt, water bottle, and lunch. Each route is well marked and patrolled.
NLL accepting candidates for Board of Director’s election
The Nanticoke Little League Board of Director’s election will be held on September 26 at 7 p.m. at the concession stand. Anyone interested in running for a position may call 629-9209 and leave a message. Letters of intent must be submitted by September 19.
