Donations sought for auction
The third annual charity auction sponsored by Take My Hand Ministry Inc. of Greenwood will be Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company on US 13.
Donated items (excluding clothing and appliances), baked goods and cash contributions are tax deductible. All proceeds will help poverty level clients of Take My Hand Ministry Inc. obtain many necessary items (food, fuel, medicine, etc.) that their limited incomes cannot cover. Mt. Calvary plans events
Mt. Calvary AME Church, Concord, will sponsor a Day In The Park, Saturday, July 28, 11 a.m. at the Soroptimist Park. There will be food, games and rides as well as face painting, a moonwalk house and putt-putt golfing. Choirs and soloist are invited. A Couples' Sunday service will be Sunday, July 29, 4 p.m., with guests the Rev. Isaac Ross and evangelist Laverne Ross of Milford Revival Center, Milford. This service will be performed entirely by couples.

Hymn sing planned at St. Paul's
St. Paul's United Methodist Church will host a gospel music hymn sing featuring the O'Day Family Sunday, July 29, 6 p.m. The church is located on Old Stage Road, Laurel.

Park to host church services
Cannon United Methodist Church will hold services at Soroptimist Park, Middleford Road, Seaford, Sunday, July 29. Services will begin at 11 a.m. and continue through the afternoon. Live music and food will be provided. For more information, contact pastor Steve Hall, 629-7468.

Bible school to be in park
The Seaford Church of the Nazarene will hold its vacation Bible school in Blades Park July 30 through Aug. 3 for children 3 years old through the sixth grade. The program will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each day.
There will also be a free picnic, with games, food and live gospel groups, in the park on Aug. 4 from 3 p.m. till dusk. For more information call 629-3929.

Bible school set for Mondays
Blades United Methodist Church will hold vacation Bible school on five Monday evenings, starting July 30 and continuing on Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27. The time is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The theme is Son Creek Junction from Gospel Light. There is no fee, but an offering will be taken each night. Call 629-7265 to register.

Bike give-away part of VBS
Seaford Presbyterian Church will have vacation Bible school on Aug. 6, 7 and 8, from 9 a.m. till noon. The theme is "Discovering The Bible." Each participant will receive a Bible and a bike will be given to a child who registers each day. For further information call Fran at 629-8442.

Trinity plans Bible school
Trinity United Methodist Church (near Trap Pond) will hold its annual vacation Bible school Aug. 6 through 10, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The theme is "Son Creek Junction." For information call Brenda at 238-7139.

'Exaltation' to sing at church
The music ensemble "Exaltation" from Toccoa Falls College, Toccoa Falls, Ga., will perform at Atlanta Road Alliance Church on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m. For more information call the church at 629-7693.
The church is located on Atlanta Road, 1 and 1/2 miles north of the Nylon Capital Shopping Plaza, next to Seaford Animal Hospital.

Ice cream sale, social set
Blades United Methodist Church will hold an ice cream sale and social Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Blades Community Hall on West 4th Street, beginning at 10 a.m. Homemade ice cream will be available by the dip, pint and quart.

Youth ministry plans dinner
Union Church Youth "One80" Ministries will host a spaghetti dinner Wednesday, Aug. 15, 4 to 7 p.m. Admission for adults will be $5 and for children under 10, $2.50. The church is located at 2 North Laws St., Bridgeville. For more information call 337-7409.
