Senior pictures to be taken
Seaford High School senior class pictures will be taken on July 25 and 26. Notices will be mailed to upcoming seniors by Lifetouch. For details, contact Lifetouch at 410-742-7484.

Preschool has openings
St. John's Preschool has added a second class for 2-year-olds on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The Monday-Wednesday class is full. One opening is available for the 3-year-olds' class. Openings are still available in the morning and afternoon 4- and 5-year-olds' class (must be 4 by Dec. 31).
The preschool is located on Pine and Poplar streets in Seaford. It is open to all children regardless of race, color or origin. Contact Debby Shockley at 628-1131 for more information.

Yard, bake sale set
The Nanticoke Senior Center is having a yard and bake sale on Friday, July 14, from 8 to 11 a.m. Tables are available for anyone wishing to sell items. Table space is $5 per table, and vendors price and sell their own items.
To arrange to donate items to the sale, contact Steve Givens or Barbara Johnson at the Nanticoke Senior Center, 629-4939, by Wednesday, July 12.

Canoes wanted for scouts
Boy Scout Troop #249 is looking for several used canoes for camping trips. All donations are tax deductible. If you have one you would be willing to provide, call Dan Braunstein, scoutmaster, at 629-7239.
Acorn Club preparing directory
The Seaford Acorn Club is preparing its local telephone directory. Anyone wishing to advertise in this directory who has not already been contacted may call 629-7396. Also, anyone interested in making any changes in the director may contact Barbara Norton at 629-7396.

Bon voyage for seniors
The Nanticoke Senior Center is planning the following trips:

To the Three Little Bakers" production of "The King and I," on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Cost is $45 for members and $55 for non-members. Bus will leave the senior center at 3 p.m.

To the Branson Music Fest, Oct. 9 through 14. The professionally guided tour includes numerous musical shows and trips to favorite tourist spots. Participants will stay at the Ramada Inn in Branson, Mo. Travel will be a round-trip flight out of BWI and bus transportation will be provided in Branson. Price is $839 double occupancy, which includes room, meals (breakfast and dinners only), transportation and shows/tours.

To the annual Christmas show at the Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre, Wednesday, Nov. 8. The bus leaves the center at 3 p.m. Cost is $45 for members and $50 for non-members.
