Historical Society picnic
The annual picnic for members of Seaford Historical Society will be held on the lawn of the Ross Mansion on Monday, July 16, at 6 p.m. Members are asked to bring a covered dish of salad, vegetable or dessert. The Society will provide fried chicken and beverages.
The program will consist of Seaford Historical Society's plans for the future, both at the Seaford Museum and the Ross Mansion/Plantation.
Reservations are absolutely necessary in order that the Society can know how much chicken to provide. To make a reservation leave a message at the Ross Mansion, 628-9500, or call Anne Nesbitt at 628-7788. Reservations must be made by July 12.

Friday, July 13, 2 p.m., Harry Potter Club. Join in the fun and test your knowledge of the first Harry Potter book with a trivia game.
Thursday, July 19, 7 p.m., Once Upon a Time. Seaford's favorite storyteller, Michael Richmond-Boudewyns returns to perform children's classic stories.
Friday, July 20, 2 p.m., Harry Potter Club. More fun exploring the magic world of Harry Potter.

Seaford Library Collectibles
The Seaford Library is offering two collectible items for sale. A replica of the library has been created by Hometown Collectibles in a limited number, and would be a great addition for any Cat's Meow enthusiast. Priced at $15 the back of the wooden replica describes the library's growth from 1902 to present day.
Artist Jack Lewis, a resident of Bridgeville for more than 40 years, recently published a collection of his paintings entitled "A Brush With fate," and features many Delmarva landscapes. A handful of autographed copies are available for $60, $10 of which will be donated to the library.
