Hunting & Trapping Guide
The Division of Fish and Wildlife would like deer hunters to be aware that the correct deer hunting dates are Nov. 15, 16, 18 and 23; Dec. 14 and Jan. 18 for state wildlife management areas and Dec. 17, 18 and 19 for Brandywine Creek State Park. Incorrect dates were printed in the deer stand lottery section of the hunting application in the new edition of the Delaware Hunting and Trapping Guide.
In addition, Blackbird State Forest was omitted from the list of available public hunting areas on the application. Hunters wishing to select that area can write it in on the application form.
The Division apologizes for any inconvenience these errors may have caused. Contact the Wildlife Section at 302-739-5297 for further information about the application or the pre-season lottery.
