City Water - What's in it?

City water - you drink it; you cook with it; you bathe in it; you sprinkle your lawn with it. So, don't you want to know what's in it? The City of Seaford Water Department in conjunction with the Office of Drinking Water, Division of Public Health, produces an annual water quality report. The report gives details about all of the items that are present in the water. This year's report revealed that the City of Seaford's water met all requirements without any violation, but there were some contaminants found. Although finding such contaminants is relatively normal, you should make it a priority to find out what they were. You can obtain a copy of the water quality report from City Office. Either stop by at 302 East King St., or call 629-9173 to request a copy to be mailed to you. If you have Internet access, the report is also available on the City's website at www.seafordde.com. Simply click on the link titled Water Quality Report. It doesn't matter how you get the report; just get it, because you have a right to know what's in your water.
