Golf to benefit museum
The Association of Retired Delaware State Police will host a golf tournament at Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club, located at 1309 Ponderosa Drive, Magnolia, on June 27, at noon. The cost of the event is $65 per player and includes greens fees, cart, and dinner. The proceeds of the tournament will benefit the Delaware State Police Museum, which continues to provide visitors with an in-depth history of the division and an educational experience. Concerts in the Park
Seaford Main Street announces the next in its Concerts in the Park series, free concerts at Gateway Park at High and Market streets. On July 7 there will be a Barbershop Quartet and Rosemary Stevenson clogging. The Rainy Day Four hails from the First State Harmonizers Chapter of SPEBSQSA, Inc. in Milford. The quartet totals over 100 years of Barbershopping experience and is the senior quartet of the chapter. Carlton Tull, John Webster, Tom Palmer and Jim Clements make up this group. Rosemary Stevenson started clogging when she lived out west at the age of 11. At the age of 16 Rosemary became Miss Seaford. Stevenson has entered talent contest and has come in First at the Town and Country Fair, 2nd place at the Delaware State Fair, and 2nd at the Laurel 4th of July celebration.

SHS Class of 1988
Seaford High School Class of 1988, 15 year Class Reunion, will be held on Saturday, July 12, with a reception/registration from 2-4 p.m. at the Seaford High School. There will be light refreshments. Radio City Music Hall trip
Seaford Dept. of Parks & Recreation is planning its annual trip to a Radio City Music Hall show. This year’s date is Sunday, Dec. 7. The show time is at noon. The show normally lasts 1-1/2 hours. You will have free time from show’s end until 5:30 p.m. We will be leaving New York at 5:45. The first-come first-served basis is in effect. There are 46 seats available. Cost for the trip is $87 which includes show ticket and bus ticket. Bus is a motor coach. Call the recreation office at 629-6809 to register or for details.

Atlantic City trip
The Nanticoke Senior Center is planning a trip to Atlantic City, Sept. 3-4. The trip includes: transportation by motorcoach, accommodations at the Tropicana Casino Hotel, one buffet breakfast, lunch and one buffet dinner. Admission to the show at the Tropicana, and a $10 casino bonus. Cost is $142 double occupancy; or $172 single occupancy. Three Little Bakers
Nanticoke Senior Center is planning a trip to Three Little Bakers show “The Goodbye Girl” on Wednesday, July 16, departure time is 3 p.m. Included in the trip: Motor coach transportation, great food, fabulous desserts, Cost is $50 for members, $60 for non-members. Sign up early for this dinner theatre production. The show is set in New York City. This witty and tuneful musical is based on Neil Simon’s well-known film about an unlikely romance between a bitter single woman who has been jilted too many times and an opinionated actor who shows up on her doorstep with a lease to sublet her apartment. The musical score is by Marvin Hamlisch.
