Senior center plans set
The Bridgeville Senior Center has planned the following events:
Thursday, June 22 - visit to Georgetown CHEER at 10 a.m.
Friday, June 23 - ceramics at 10 a.m.; shopping after lunch at Food Lion.
Monday, June 26 - visit to Milford Senior Center at 10 a.m.
Tuesday, June 27 - Bingo at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, June 28 - trip to the post office and bank; Bible study at 10 a.m.; show and tell after lunch.
Thursday, June 29 - exercise at 10 a.m.; ride in the country after lunch and ice cream at McDonald's.
Friday, June 30 - ceramics at 10 a.m.; shopping after lunch at Wal-Mart.

CHEER has active week
The Greenwood CHEER Senior Center has planned the following activities:
Thursday, June 22 - A trip to Greenwood Library for a program by Martha Green at 10:30 a.m. Grocery shopping after lunch in Harrington.
Friday, June 23 - JoAnn Brandenburg will have a program on senior care at 10:30 a.m.
Monday, June 26 - Bible study at 10:30 with the Rev. Paul Stauffer at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, June 27 - shopping at Dollar General and Rose"s in Seaford, leaving at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, June 28 - free blood pressure and hearing screening at 10 a.m.
Thursday, June 29 - Pat Brown from the Greenwood library will be in at 10:30 for a program on 'The Library and What It Has to Offer.'
Friday, June 30 - Trip to Warren Market, Milford, leaving at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Church of God plans events
The Bridgeville Church of God will sponsor the following programs:
Christian singer Bill Itzel will perform during the morning service on June 25, which starts at 10:45. He started out his musical career touring with the Speers. In his tenure with the group, he was featured on two radio singles: 'Saved To The Uttermost' and 'He"s Still In The Fire.' In 1990 he left the Speers and started touring with his wife, Karen. Since then he has appeared on the Bill Gaither Homecoming videos and has had top 100 gospel songs like 'I Will Praise and Worship.'
The youth of the church are sponsoring a spaghetti dinner fund-raiser on July 1, 4-7 p.m. Proceeds will help pay for some church members to go to youth camp this summer. Tickets for the dinner are $6 a piece, and $3 for children 12 and under. For tickets or for more information stop by the church or call Marsha Knight at (302) 337-3044.
Benson Vaughan, missionary to Germany, will be the guest speaker on July 16, which starts at 10:45 a.m. Vaughan has spent numerous years serving as a minister of music, evangelist and assistant pastor. He was also employed for 17 years as a public school music teacher with the Somerset County Public School system in Maryland. For more information contact pastor Harold Daniels at (302) 337-3044.
