Tractor Club meeting

Woodbridge Pop Warner Sign-Ups set for June 16
Woodbridge Pop Warner has announced that registration for the 2001 season for the Pee Wee and Midget divisions will be held on June 16 at the Woodbridge football field from 10 a.m. until noon. Sign-ups for ages 9-15 will take place on July 31 from 10 a.m. until noon. Participants must bring a birth certificate, a final report card, and are required to have a physical before August 1. The fee for one child will be $25, and $5 for each additional family member. Two local SSU graduate students attend conference
Melissa Moore, daughter of Benjamin and Patricia Moore of Bridgeville, recently participated in the 2001 Undergraduate Research Conference at Salisbury State University.
A 1997 graduate of Woodbridge High School, Moore graduated this May from SSU, majoring in biology and pre-veterinary medicine. Her research examined the role of chemicals in leukemia cells.
Nicole Vincent, daughter of Margaret Van Dyke of Trappe and Ronald Vincent of Cambridge, recently participated in the 2001 Undergraduate Research Conference at Salisbury State University.
A 1997 graduate of Laurel High School, Vincent graduated in May from SSU, majoring in English. Her research examined the poetry of Lucille Clifton. She will attend graduate school at the University of Maryland, College Park.
The first annual conference drew together more than 200 SSU students to present their research.
