Arsenic and Old Lace to open
Tickets are now on sale for the Possum Point Players' summer comedy "Arsenic and Old Lace." The play will be presented on June 16, 17, 23 and 24 at 8 p.m., and on June 18 and 30 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $11 each and senior/student discounts are available for the matinee performances only. Democrats to meet June 17
The 40th District Democrat Dinner will be held at Laurel American Legion Home Saturday, June 17, 6 p.m. John Carney, candidate for lieutenant governor, will speak. Tickets are $25 a person. For ticket information call 875-2674.

Stadium to host March of Dimes
The Sussex County chapter of the March of Dimes will sponsor a bus to Perdue Stadium, Salisbury, Saturday, June 17, for a game between the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Asheville Tourists. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and fireworks will follow the final out. The bus will leave from Cool Branch. For details, call 629-0110.

DuPont employee picnic set
A reunion of employees and retirees from the power house, power service and waste treatment departments of the Seaford DuPont plant will be Saturday, June 24, from noon to 6 p.m. in Soroptimist Park, Seaford, across from the Methodist Manor House on Middleford Road. Families are also invited.
Cost is $5 per adult, $2 per child (12 years and under). Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken and sodas will be furnished. Participants may take a covered dish. Reservations are due by Monday, June 19.
