Library hosts reading programs
On Friday, June 14, sign-ups for the Laurel Public Library Children’s Summer Reading Program begins. Children will get a free trip to the Treasure Box when they register for the program. Teens may also sign up on Friday for NightLife at the Library, an after-hours, teens-only program for students who will be in the seventh through twelfth grades in the fall. Teens are invited to “Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae” evening and will get a sneak-preview of new books, CDs and movies at the library.
Library Friends to gather
The Friends of the Laurel Library will hold their annual meeting Tuesday, June 18, at 7 p.m. For details, call 875-3184.
