Delmar graduate receives his Eagle Scout award
Chad Robert Culver was honored by the members of Boy Scouts troop 174, Delmar, his family and friends on Sunday at a Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony held at the Delmar VFW. He was awarded the highest scouting award, Eagle Scout.
Chad began his scouting career as a Tiger Cub in 1991 at Delmar Elementary School.
Chad just graduated from Delmar Senior High School and is enrolled for the fall semester at Wor-Wic Tech Community College, to study the restaurant industry. The best part of scouting, he says, is “all the people I’ve met and all the things I’ve experienced, that have made me a better person.”
