Memorial Day in Seaford
Seaford’s Memorial Day Service, Monday, May 31, Kiwanis Park, Stein Highway. Starts with a parade on Nylon Blvd. at 10:30 a.m. with the service starting at the War Memorial at 11 a.m.

Republican Women’s Club
Seaford Republican Women’s Club meets Thursday, May 27, 10:30 a.m., Seaford Golf and Country Club, to organize an Aug. 15 dinner, where the candidates running for election in November will be presented. Event at Gethsemane
Youth Group of Gethsemane United Methodist Church yard sale, bake sale, and scrapple/egg sandwiches, hotdogs, and drinks. Doors will be open on Saturday, June 19, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gethsemane’s Fellowship Hall, located four miles west of Seaford at the corner of Rt. 20 and Woodland Ferry Road, near Reliance. Elks Providing Summer Camp
Seaford Elks Lodge #2458 is sponsoring a number of children, ages 9-13, to attend the Elks Camp Barrett located in Crownsville, MD. The dates are: boys, June 27-July 3; girls, July 25-July 31. For information, 628-3607 or 628-3389. Do not call the lodge.
