Poker Run Benefit in Laurel
Muskrat Memorial Poker Run, Saturday, May 29, with proceeds to benefit a college fund set up for the children of Mike and Beverly Gray. Mike Gray was killed in a motorcycle accident last year and friends and fellow motorcyclists are coordinating the event. Registration is $8 and includes a reception after the event with music, door prizes and barbecue at Castaways Lounge, U.S. 13, in Laurel. Sign up for the event is from 8 a.m. to noon at Castaways Lounge. Non-riders are also invited to attend with $5 per platter fee. Rain date is June 5.

Laurel Alumni Banquet
The 14th Annual Banquet of the Laurel Alumni Association, Saturday, May 15, at the Laurel Fire Hall, Social hour from 5-6:15 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. Classes to be honored: 1934, 1944, 1954, 1964, 1974, 1979, and 1984. Reservations should be received by April 17, along with a check for $17 per person. First come, first served. Call Carolyn Calio, 875-3770.

Laurel High Concert
Laurel High Schoolís Spring Concert will be on Thursday, May 20, 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. This yearís spring concert will feature the high school band, chorus, and jazz combo. Admission is free and open to the public.
Laurel Chamber Mixer
Delaware National Bank (Laurel Branch located in Food Lion Shopping Center) will hold a mixer on Thursday, May 20, between 5 and 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and all chamber members are invited to attend. Meet Delaware Nationalís new manager, Al Turchan. RSVPs need to be made to the chamber office by noon Monday, May 17.

Miss/Little Miss Laurel
Miss/Little Miss Laurel Pageant will be held at the Laurel Senior High School, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 15. The event has been sponsored by the Laurel Exchange Club since 1950.
