Prayer breakfast planned
The Bridgeville Community Prayer Breakfast, sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Bridgeville, will be Saturday, May 4, 8 a.m., at Union United Methodist Church, 2 North Laws St., Bridgeville. Admission is $7. Tickets are available at Scott’s Furniture, 337-8274.

W’bridge spring festival set
The Woodbridge Elementary School PTO will be holding its seventh annual Spring Festival Saturday, May 4, at the school on US 13 in Greenwood. The day will begin with an all-you-can-eat breakfast featuring scrapple, eggs, pancakes, fruit and beverages. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Other festival activities will begin at 9. They will include games with prizes, pony rides, petting zoo, moon bounce, barrel train rides, and face painting. A bike rodeo will be set up by the University of Delaware safety specialists for children to show their skills with bike handling. Fire engine rides will be available for children throughout the day, provided by the Greenwood and Farmington fire companies. Educational displays will be available throughout the day as well as baked goods, a cake walk and Chinese auction featuring items donated by several area businesses. Lunch will include crab cakes, pizza, and hot dogs. The day’s activities will conclude at 3 p.m. All proceeds will go to the PTO and other school organizations. For details, call 349-1418.
