'Oliver' coming to PPP
Possum Point Players and Discover Bank are presenting the musical "Oliver" April 27 and 28 and May 3, 4 and 5, 8 p.m., and April 29 and May 6, 2 p.m.
Tickets are $13 each or $11 for seniors/students for the matinee performance only.
The May 5 and 6 performances will include dinner. Dinner will begin at 6:30 and will be followed immediately by the show. Tickets for the dinner and the show are $33 each.
"Oliver" is based on the novel by Charles Dickens, "Oliver Twist."

Democrats to meet April 30
The Western Sussex Democrat Club will hold its regular monthly covered-dish meeting Monday, April 30, 6:30 p.m., at St. Philips Episcopal Church, South Central Avenue, Laurel.
Speaker will be Dr. Harriet Smith-Windsor, secretary of state.
Golf to benefit Adult Plus+
The Adult Plus+ program at Delaware Tech is sponsoring a golf tournament Tuesday, May 1, at The Rookery in Milton.
The registration fee of $75 per person, or $240 for a team of four, includes lunch, soft drinks, greens fee, cart, and a goodie bag.
Picnic lunch begins at noon; tee-off is at 1 p.m.
Proceeds will be used for the purchase of a new bus for Adult Plus+ activities.
A grand prize of $10,000 for a hole-in-one par 3 is sponsored by American Express Financial Advisors.

Library to host fiddler
Robin Heller, storyteller and fiddler , will be at the Milton Public Library Tuesday, May 1, 6:30 p.m. The library is located at 121 Union St., Milton.
This program is funded by the Delaware Division of Libraries Centennial Grant.

Scholarship deadline May 15
The Seaford Branch of the American Association of University Women will offer a scholarship to a woman who is a resident of the Seaford, Laurel, Woodbridge, or Delmar (Del.) school district and who completed, at any time, a two-year associate program at the Owens Campus, Georgetown, and plans to pursue a four-year bachelor's degree.
Applications for the 2001-2002 year scholarship are available from the Financial Aid Office, Delaware Technical and Community College, Owens Campus, 855-1693.
The deadline is May 15.
Epworth plans spring fest
Epworth Christian School in Laurel is hosting its fourth annual spring festival Saturday, May 5, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day begins with a 200-family indoor yard sale at 7 a.m.
Scrapple sandwiches and baked goods will be available.
An auction gets under way at 10 a.m.
Children's games and entertainment begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. There will be a petting zoo; carriage rides and horse rides will also be available.
The Southern Delaware School of the Arts Juggling Team will perform at 11 a.m. and the State Police helicopter will fly in at 2 p.m.
A chicken barbecue platter is available for $5 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Advance tickets are necessary and are available through the school office (302) 875-4488. Crab cakes, hot dogs, funnel cakes and snow cones will also be available.
