Bible study set for adults, kids
"Walk Thru the Old Testament," for adults, and "Old Testament Kids in the Book," for ages 6-12, will be held Sunday, April 9, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Milford Senior Center, Park Avenue.
Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children and teens through age 18, or $25 maximum per family. Registration forms are available at The Dove in Seaford or by calling Daybreak Counseling Services at 422-7021. Deadline is April 2.

Parents' Night Out April 7
The Seaford Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a Parents Night Out program for children ages kindergarten through sixth grade on Friday, April 7, from 6-9 p.m. The program will feature Easter crafts and games. Dinner will be provided. For details, call Sandy at 628-9808.

Tent revival going on
An old-fashioned tent revival is being held at Dagsboro Church of God nightly at 7 p.m. April 5 through 8, with evangelist Jeff Hanan. The church is located on US113 south, Dagsboro. For more information call 732-6550.

Benefit hymn sing April 8
A benefit hymn sing for the Yoder family, an Amish family whose children were injured in an accident, will be Saturday, April 8, 7 p.m. at the Diamond State Roller Rink (next to the Felton Drive-in on Rt. 13 between Felton and Canterbury). For details, call 1-877-337-8848.

Lenten Services at St. Luke's
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Front Street, Seaford, is holding Lent services on Wednesday evenings. The service begins with evening prayer at 5:30 p.m., followed by supper. At 7 p.m., the Stations of the Cross are observed in the sanctuary.

Church to hold buffet
A fried chicken buffet will be held Saturday, April 15, at Bethany Church-Lowes Crossroads near Millsboro, from 2 to 6 p.m. Adults and carryouts, $7.50; children, $3. A bake table will be available.

Women's Day at Mt. Calvary
Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, Bridgeville, will observe its annual Women's Day on Sunday, April 16, at 10:30 a.m. The guest preacher will be minister Janice Austin of Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Gaithersburg, Md.

Blades U.M.C. trip planned
The Blades United Methodist Church is sponsoring a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean as a fund-raiser. Participants will sail on Jan. 20, 2001, for a one-week trip on the S.S. Church to present cantata
The Easter cantata, "I Stand In Awe," will be presented by the choir of the Atlanta Road Alliance Church on Friday evening, April 21, at 7:30, and on Easter Sunday, April 23, at 11 a.m. The choir is under the direction of Richard Trice. For details call 629-7693. The church is located on Atlanta Road, 1 and 1/2 miles north of the Nylon Capitol Shopping Plaza, next to Seaford Animal Hospital.

Foster to speak
Dr. Gerald A. Foster will be the featured speaker at Christ United Methodist Church, 520 Central Ave., Laurel, on April 7, 8 and 9.
Foster was founding pastor of Aldergate Methodist Church in Wilmington and subsequently was pastor of the Union Methodist Church Church in Bridgeville. He later served as pastor of the Red Lion Methodist Church in Bear. He has been director of the "Wings of the Morning," radio show for over 43 years. Elizabeth Foster is a graduate of Asbury College and Temple University.
On April 7, Foster will speak on Lenten topics.
On April 8, Dr. and Mrs. Foster will lead Bible study and share insights into the hymns of the church.
They will finish their visit on Sunday, April 9.

Jericho to hold meeting
Sadie Brunson, president of Women's Aglow in Wilmington, will speak at the next meeting of Jericho Fellowship International, held at Mt. Olivet Church, High Street, Seaford, Tuesday, April 11. For details call the Jericho office, 629-5654.

Evangelist to speak
Dr. Gerald A. Foster will be the featured speaker at Christ United Methodist Church, 520 Central Ave., Laurel, on April 7, 8 and 9.
On April 7, Foster will speak on Lenten topics. His wife, Elizabeth, will lead the congregation in the singing of the old Methodist hymns of John and Charles Wesley and learning new ones. On April 8, Dr. and Mrs. Foster will lead Bible study and share insights into the hymns of the church. They will finish their visit on Sunday, April 9, when Foster will speak on Easter and Elizabeth Foster will perform a "ministry through music."
Born in Brown City, Mich., Dr. Foster graduated from Brown City High School and holds degrees from Taylor University, Asbury Theological Seminary, Princeton Theological Seminary, Temple University, Philathea College and served on teaching staffs of several schools and universities. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada as an evangelist. His world missions have included, Latin America, Middle East, China, Japan, India, Portugal, Bermuda, Singapore, Taiwan and many more.

Shiloh to host yard sale
Shiloh Community Church of Laurel will host a yard sale Saturday, April 8, starting at 7 a.m. Foods available will be scrapple sandwiches, oyster fritters, chicken salad, peas and dumpling and soup. A bake table will also be available. For more information call 875-7075.

Yard sale planned
Christ The Cornerstone Community Church, Bethel Road and 13A, Laurel, will host a yard sale on April 8, 7 a.m. Spaces are available for $10. To reserve space or have donations picked up, call 875-0771. Rain date is April 15.

Native American to speak
Boe Harris, a Native American of the Lakota Tribe, will speak at all services on the Laurel-Mt. Pleasant Charge, April 9.
She will present the similarities between the Lakota Sundance ceremony and the crucifixion of Jesus.
Services on the charge are as follows: King's 8:50 a.m., St. George's, 10:10 a.m., Mt. Pleasant, 11:30 a.m.
